Kit#3: Sustainable Cleaning Chemistry

Wintzell & Fried has assembled a comprehensive sustainable chelation and cleaning chemistry range here presented as Kit#3!
At its center is the EDTA substitution portfolio including GLDA (tetrasodium glutamate diacetate) and MGDA (methylglycine diacetic acid) which are the two most widely adopted biodegradable EDTA replacements. They offer comparable chelation performance across a wide pH and hardness range. We also carry iminodisuccinic acid sodium salt (IDS) and polyaspartic acid sodium salt (PASP) — providing two other substitution options.
Complementing the chelation range is alkyl polyglucoside (APG) surfactants which deliver bio-based, readily biodegradable non-ionic surface activity — the surfactant of choice for sulphate-free, clean-label formulations.
Sodium gluconate, citric acid, sulphamic acid, and sodium citrate round out the builder and buffering chemistry, giving formulators everything needed for a complete, sustainable formulation from one supplier.
Whether you are reformulating an existing EDTA-based product or developing a new sustainable cleaning range from the ground up, contact Wintzell & Fried for more information.
