Diethylhydroxylamine
N,N-diethylhydroxylamine 85% solution, DEHA, is used as a colour stabilizer and processing aid in the manufacture of polymers and as an anti-oxidant in formulations for rapid development of colour prints for the photographic industry. It can also be used for water treatment as a oxygen scavanger i.e. binding dissolved oxygen and thereby slowing or eliminating corrosion in e.g. water boilers. It is also used as a regent in organic synthesis processes.
