Ethyl mercaptan blend
Ethyl mercaptan blend is a mixture of mercaptans and sulfides with ethanethiol as its primary constituent. It is most commonly used as a gas odorant for liquified petroleum gases (LPG) as well as piped natural gas for heating and cooking. It is added to odorless gases due to its strong odor in order to detect leaks.
