Potassium tetrafluoroborate
Potassium tetrafluoroborate is used as an active filler in resin-bonded abrasives, as a component in welding rods, and as a flux and grain refining agent for magnesium and aluminium production. It is also used in foundry moulds and when synthesizing different organic salts and ionic liquids, which in turn can be used as a green solvent in chemical reactions. Potassium tetrafluorborate is available with and without anti-caking agent.
